Group Business Development Director

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Developer to manage our client’s group pitch opportunities. The emphasis here is on impeccable project management, attention to detail and the co-ordination of group personalities (big) and resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with our client’s central management team to develop target list of group prospects

• Manage contact programme

• Create effective pitch process

• Champion best quality pitching, maximising their strike rate

• Qualify, plan and lead all group pitch opportunities – setting and managing pitch budgets

• Mobilise group resource for pitching

• Establish and manage relationships with relevant intermediary bodies, managing communication around group and individual business propositions and relationships

• Work with Marketing Manager to ensure all group policies and documents are up to date

Skills & Requirements

• Agency experience, preferably with a group

• Impeccable project management skills and attention to detail

• Negotiation skills

• Leadership

• Track record of converting pitches

• Exceptional client skills

• Charismatic and ability to work effectively with big egos
