Our client is a leading strategic brand consultancy. They have established an outstanding reputation for both the quality of their thinking and creativity. They are viewed by their peers as a highly progressive business.

The business has now reached a point in its development where they need to expand the management capability within the business in order to drive the business to the next stage of growth.

Reporting to their CEO, you will play a significant role on their management team and within 6 months it is envisaged that you will join the Board.

Overall role:-

You will take responsibility for the day to day running of the consultancy Oversee all operations to maximise income, cost effectiveness and profitability Respect and champion quality both in terms of thinking and product Help develop and own the annual business plan and forecasting Assist in the long term (3 year) strategic planning process Responsibility for all operational issues covering HR / IT / Facilities / Finance / Client Services Position our client as the most desirable consultancy to work for At the outset it is anticipated that the selected candidate will spend roughly 40% of their time acting as a senior consultant on brand strategy projects. You’ll participate in new business pitches as and when required as a senior consultant. You will contribute to the overall IP and brand thinking (egg articles, blogs etc)

Ideal candidate:-

We anticipate the ideal candidate will have at least some exposure to running a ‘project’ based rather than ‘retainer’ based business.

It would also be beneficial to your candidacy if you could demonstrate direct experience of working in a strategic brand consultancy.

You will need to have a strong handle on the latest operational efficiencies in terms of systems etc.

Commercially sound, numbers driven, you will be a highly experienced operator

Base salary will be in the region of £120 – £140K base. In addition there will be a company pension and healthcare scheme. They also run a STIP plus significant additional earning potential through an LTIP scheme.
