General Responsibilities
The primary responsibility for a Senior Consultant within our client is to manage all aspects of day to day project management.
This includes: • Client liaison • Developing the project plan • Time management • Resourcing • Budget management • Day-to-day conflict resolution • Preparation and presentation of the final output • Driving the project through to a successful completion ensuring that all work is completed to the highest possible standard.. • Project involvement will also include tackling a range of tasks, personally, such as creative and idea generation work, research of various kinds, and delivery of presentations. In support of these responsibilities, as a Senior Consultant will also be expected to develop and broaden his/her personal skills. In particular, this will include learning as much as possible about the use and purpose of the various specialist analytical and research techniques that our client employs.
A Senior Consultant will handle all elements of the client project relationship, including proposal design, briefings and presentations and to support the Directors and Account Directors, who own the overall client relationship. They should look for business development opportunities to extend or take on new projects at our clients and beyond. A Senior Consultant will play an active role in people management: recruitment, training and development and performance management of Consultants and Research Consultants. Our Requirements The intellectual demands of the job mean that a 2:1 or 1st class degree, and previous strong academics are essential. We require fluency in English and would prefer good working knowledge of at least one other European language.
