Despite the credit crunch this outstanding brand consultancy is in rude health. The projects they produce range from insight, to innovation & NPD. The company works with a range of different well-known clients, in such industries as media, FMCG, Mobile & telecommunications. They are renowned for being extremely bright and are engaged at the most senior levels on projects of strategic importance. They are keen to maintain their momentum and feel their offer would be strengthened by someone whose expertise isn’t just qual but can easily straddle quant and qual (we imagine 50:50ish). They are not looking for a someone who embraces a traditional quant approach but are interested in someone who’s a bit cool and has an active interest in media/technology. Needless to say immaculate ‘academics’ are essential (at worst a 2:1 from a red brick).
The ideal candidate will need to be a wiz with a range of ad hoc Quantitative methods (i.e. NPD, segmentation, U&A etc.) as well as experience of qualitative research. This would hopefully be combined with proven experience of generating insights & delivering recommendations to the client.
Someone from a planning background would be ideal, as would a strategically minded researcher. You need to be a self-starter who has the ability to muck in on a range of projects & mix with the team.
